This is probably the best memoir I’ve ever read in the longest time. Real zero to hero tale detailing his struggles as a black in America; from an addict & a pimp, to his work under Nation of Islam, and finally his discovery of the true Islam, which lifted him from the madness, saved him and brought him light and vision in his unflagging advocacy for racial equality. His hunger for knowledge, fearless stance, and be-damned-to-you demeanour demands admiration and respect, no matter your race or religion. A rare gem; the kind of leader the world so lacks today. The kind who risked his life and died while standing up for what’s right, the kind who died in the name of Islam. What a man. What an inspiration.
