‘The Journey of the Strangers‘ is one of the Dar-us-Sunnah classic collections. Other titles in the series include ‘The Journey to Allah‘, ‘The Humility in Prayer‘, ‘The Legacy of the Prophet‘, etc. I was personally attracted to the simple, minimal, pastel book covers and the titles. It’s a quick read yet packed with profound wisdom. I chose this title to read first because of this hadith which I, and I’m sure many other Muslims, could relate to.
“Islam began as something strange, and it will return as something strange as it began, so glad tidings to the strangers.”
– narrated by Muslim (145)
Will definitely recommend this; I feel a lot less alone and reaffirmed of my faith, through these few pages of knowledge.
