This has got to be one of the best non-fiction travel memoirs I’ve ever read – entertaining, hilarious, full of life & adventure. Lost count the number of times I laughed & smiled to myself while reading this in public (#bookwormproblems, anyone?) Durrell & his eccentric family will journey you through the exotic isle of sun-soaked Corfu, where fascinating encounters with nature are aplenty. I didn’t expect myself to enjoy this one a lot, but it’s now one of my top recommended reads this summer – or any season really.
