One word: hilarious, lah! Okay fine, two words. Okay ‘lah’ is technically not a word it’s a sentence particle but anyway. Point is. Gwee weaves Singlish in his poetry so tastefully and humorously I couldn’t help but laugh at the turn of almost every page. So relatable and funny! I’ve read One Thousand and One Nights by him and I love his romantic poems too. Officially a fan.
